Two police officers shot in Louisville following jury decision not to indict cops in Breonna Taylor’s death

Two police officers were shot during protests — hours after a Kentucky grand jury decided no to indict Louisville police for Breonna Taylor’s death.

One officer was shot in the abdomen below their bulletproof vest and and a second officer was shot in the thigh. Both officers were in stable condition and undergoing treatment at University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville Metro Police Department chief Robert Schroeder said at a news conference.

Schroeder also said a suspect was in custody, although no further details have been provided.
