PERU: 23-year-old gang banger shot in the head by rivals in Trujillo

PERU – A 23-year-old gang banger was shot dead on Wednesday in Trujillo.

Video surveillance of the incident shows Welcome Ángel Queruvil Bello Padilla, sitting on a small cement wall, in front of a store playing with his cell phone.

Suddenly, a subject wearing a red hoodie pulls up from behind and shoots him in the head. In total, Padilla was shot five times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The hitman can then be seen hopping on a motorcycle and getting away with his accomplice. 

Authorities believe Bello Padilla was shot dead over a settling of scores. He is known by police for his affiliation with criminal gang “Los Shegos de El Porvenir.”

As for the hitman, he has not yet been identified, but police believe he belongs to criminal gang “Los Pulpos”, who had previous beef with Shego, leader of the Los Shegos de El Porvenir criminal gang.
