One of the two deputies shot on Saturday in Compton managed to radio for help, and apply a tourniquet on her partner, according to online reports.
The two cops — a 31-year-old mother and a 24-year-old man — were shot at close range at around 7pm Saturday in Compton. The two were critically injured when a gunman walked up and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
The search for the shooter is ongoing as of Monday morning. There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
