Police are saying a man burst into a Queens nail salon where his ex-wife was working and stabbed her to death.
Footage released to the public shows the 39-year-old suspect walking into S’tilo Salon in Jackson Heights at about 7 p.m. and stabbing a 35-year-old female employee several times in the chest. Medics took the woman to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police identified the man to be her ex-husband and say he attacked her out of jealousy. The couple allegedly split up earlier this year in January and he became jealous when he saw her talking to other men.
Police said he slit his wrists following the attack. He allegedly embraced her lifeless body, weeping and had to be dragged away by cops.
