GRAPHIC AFTERMATH: Two people killed, 12 injured when shooter opens fire at homecoming party in Texas

Two people were killed and twelve others wounded when a shooter opened fire at a homecoming party in Texas.

In total, two people were shot dead, six others wounded from gunshot wounds, while the other six were injured with bruises or cuts from broken glass while trying to escape.

According to reports, the shooter managed to escape in the chaos that ensued. Police say he used a 9mm handgun to gun down his victims. 

Officials say the gunman appeared to “pick out one individual” for his first victim and then continued shooting through the crowd.

The shooting took place at an event space called The Party Venue, which was holding a Halloween party called “Twerk or Tweet” to mark the end of the university’s homecoming week.
