CHICAGO: Alleged Two Six gang member killed in Brighton Park shooting

CHICAGO — A man was killed in a shooting Tuesday in Brighton Park on the Southwest Side.

The 26-year-old victim, identified as Anthony Cluchey of Brighton Park, was on the street at about 4:40pm in the 3300 block of South Western Avenue when someone approached him and unleashed gunfire, video obtained by Hoodsite shows.

The man was struck in the head and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

Area One detectives are investigating.

Sources close to Hoodsite say the man shot in the video was a member from the Two Six gang in Chicago — A video posted to social media a few days earlier allegedly shows him and other Two Six members jumping a rival from the Latin Kings.

A connection between the two videos has yet to be confirmed by law enforcement officials.
