Alligator eats boy alive and kills brother while fishing to help parents during pandemic

An alligator ate a boy alive and killed his brother while fishing in Brazil.

Reports say the parents were gone fishing in the river behind their home in Alenquer, to stock up on food amid the pandemic, while the boys remained behind near the riverbank.

One of the boys was found dead floating in the river while the other went missing. He was later found in the reptile’s belly.

Local residents say the parents are to blame for leaving the children behind alone while they went fishing, knowing the region is infested with alligators.
